WIRELESS LAN ASSOCIATION ADDS MEMBERS AND IMPROVES SERVICES

Network Affiliate Members Added

San Jose, CA - February 14, 2002

The Wireless LAN Association (WLANA), the educational trade association for the wireless local area networking industry, announced today that Network Utilities and Ekahau have joined the association as affiliate members. Network Utilities is the supplier of Odyssey, an end-to-end 802.lx security solution. Ekahau, Inc. is an innovator of indoor positioning technology in WLAN networks.

"WLANA welcomes Network Utilities and Ekahau as a new affiliate members," said Anthony Armenta, WLANA's executive director, "Our growing membership represents the strength of the wireless LAN industry."

In addition, WLANA continues to update its educational web site and now includes an improved WLAN directory. The new directory contains over 600 companies in the wireless LAN industry, categorized by product and service offerings, with live links to WLANA members. The new directory will be updated regularly by WLANA and companies who wish to be listed are invited to email their company information to [email protected].
